These county maps are copies of the actual survey maps that were used to establish the individual land grants which were awarded to the original settlers when they came to Texas in the 1800's.
The city, school and road district maps are from the 1910-25 era and were produced by the then county surveyor to define the taxing districts when bonds were sold to build or to improve the facilities. The size and
quality varies with the talents of the individual surveyors.
Copies of any of these maps may be purchased for $15.00 each plus tax for Texas residents and a $5.00 mailing fee. Credit card transactions are processed through a secure server.
